The 2021 NAKHE elections for the offices of President-elect and Vice President-elect of the association are underway. The election will run from Friday, October 1 through Saturday, October 30.

On October 1, an email message containing a unique ballot link with a random, secret access key was emailed to current professional, emeritus, and student members. (Associate and concurrent members do not participate in NAKHE elections.) The email came directly from a secure online voting website called “ElectionBuddy”. The "From" name on emails to voters was "ElectionBuddy Elections", not NAKHE.

To vote, voters click on a website link contained in the email message, access their ballot with their unique access key, and enter their choice for President-elect and Vice President-elect. All votes are confidential and cannot be seen by others, including election administrators. A confirmation email is automatically sent to the voter once the voter submits their ballet. Election administrators may view the election results only after the election has ended.
