Job Description / Duties

The Department of Kinesiology at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke invites applicants for a nine month, renewable, non-tenure track lecturer position to begin Fall 2019.

The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will be teaching undergraduate students in Exercise Science related courses and advising undergraduate majors in the Department of Kinesiology. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, program assessment and serve to the department and university as needed.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Experience in teaching lecture and laboratory courses such as Anatomy and Physiology, Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics, and/or Kinesiology,

ACSM or NSCA certification above the level of personal trainer/group fitness instructor,

Master's degree in Exercise Science or related discipline.

Earned doctorate degree or ABD in exercise physiology, kinesiology, or related field and a record of teaching, scholarship, and service at the collegiate level.
