Job Description / Duties

The Instructor NT is a non-tenure track position with responsibilities to teach full-time and to provide appropriate service. The Instructor NT may participate in research or creative activities.

Applicant should possess: a Masters degree with focus in the exercise science and or health related areas; a demonstrated ability to teach in the college setting; ability to teach a variety of lab courses which may include anatomy, human/exercise physiology or health appraisal/testing; ability to advise in the health science area; participate in department/college/university and community service activities; and excellent oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications / Required Skills

An earned terminal degree or the degree required for teaching in certain disciplines is required. Potential or demonstrated teaching ability is required. A willingness to serve the academic unit, college, and the University is required. The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required.
