Job Description / Duties

Teach undergraduate courses on social, historical, philosophical, and sociological aspects of sport and exercise. Primary need is for Social Issues and Problems in Sport and Exercise. Other possible classes include Ethical Issues in Kinesiology, Youth in Sport, Globalization and Sport, Masculinity in Sport, History of Intercollegiate Sports in the United States, and History and Philosophy of Physical Education and Sport.

Qualifications / Required Skills

PhD in Kinesiology, Sport Studies, Cultural Studies, American Studies, or a closely related field.

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications: Demonstrated experience and evidence of university-level teaching; Experience in delivering undergraduate and/or graduate coursework in sport sociology

Salary: $57,750-$60,600 (Depending on Experience)
