RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibilities are quality teaching and mentoring in the Exercise Physiology area and establishing/maintaining an active, cutting edge research agenda leading to publications in refereed journals and external funding. Engagement in departmental, university, and professional activities is expected.

Qualifications / Required Skills

QUALIFICATIONS: Earned doctorate in exercise physiology or a related field. Applicants should also have a demonstrated record of peer-reviewed publications reflecting evidence of an existing line of research and potential for external funding. For hire at the Associate Professor level, an on-going record of high impact publications and external funding is preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate potential to collaborate in research with faculty in the Department of Kinesiology and other departments.

THE DEPARTMENT OF KINESIOLOGY: The Kinesiology Department ( has 31 full‐time faculty in the sub-disciplines of Athletic Training, Biomechanics, Community Youth Sport Development, Exercise Physiology, Motor Behavior, Pedagogical Kinesiology, and Sport & Exercise Psychology.
