Job Description / Duties

Serve as full-time tenure track assistant professor of Kinesiology with specialization in Motor Behavior (Motor Learning/Motor Control). Provide instruction at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in area of expertise; advise/mentor undergraduate and graduate students; provide service to the department, university, and professional organizations; develop an active research agenda that leads to nationally/internationally refereed publications and presentations; pursue external funding for research; direct graduate/undergraduate research projects.

Qualifications / Required Skills

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Doctoral degree is required (i.e., earned doctorate in Kinesiology or closely related discipline). Candidates who are ABD at time of appointment may be considered with expected completion of doctorate within one year from appointment date.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Demonstrated experience and evidence of university-level teaching; ability to successfully deliver undergraduate and/or graduate coursework in motor behavior (motor learning/motor control).
