Job Description / Duties
Teaching undergraduate classes that will include but not limited to Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics and graduate classes that may include but not limited to Advanced Kinesiology, Advanced Exercise Physiology and BiomechaniEvaluate current programs of study and make recommendations for updates and changes, supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students, support students in research, serve students, the department, college and university in a supporting and professional manner, provide leadership in and of the profession of Kinesiology and Exercise Physiology, develop a research agenda and collaborate with departmental and university faculty in research and grant writing to pursue external funding, and serve on departmental, college and university committees. This is a full-time, nine-month position with potential for summer teaching. Rank and salary will commensurate with experience and qualifications.cs of Human Movement.
Qualifications / Required Skills
Documented minimum three years full-time teaching experience in Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, and or Biomechanics at the undergraduate level as a fully credentialed instructor. Documented experience in managing Exercise Physiology lab and/or Biomechanics lab and providing quality lab experiences for students at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Documented experience in teaching and managing undergraduate and graduate courses in the online format using D2L or other current on-line delivery system. Experience in course development.
Salary: Commensurate with education and experience. Full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position to begin August 2020.
