Parking

Parking in the Marriott's garage is $27 daily. It's self-parking only, no valet service. Garage height clearance is 7 feet. The nearest parking garage is Professional Parking Systems, about 0.3 miles from the hotel at 318 E River St. A local review a year ago said, "Just drop your car off and let their crane place it out on the covered raft. Text them 15 minutes before you'll need it back on land and the crane will bring it back and set it down in the direction you need it facing according to Google Maps. All this for a flat rate of $13.48 for Sedan size and smaller, $16.23 larger than Sedan up to Suburban."

City of Savannah's Parking DAYPASS: The nearest City of Savannah parking lot is the Bryan Street Garage at 100 E Bryan St. It's 0.7 of a mile from the Marriott. Visitors can buy a DAYPASS (VDP) at the Bryan Street Garage that is valid for any of the city's monitored spaces. More information is available online at http://www.savannahga.gov/771/Visitor-Parking-Passes

Transportation From the Airport

Rideshare App Services: If you are using a rideshare app for ground transportation, Uber and Lyft pickup is located at the north entrance of baggage claim.

Taxis: Taxi cabs are located on the lower level outside of baggage claim.

Chatham Area Transit (CAT): The CAT 100X Airport Express costs just $5.00 one-way ($8.00 round-trip) and provides service between the airport and the Joe Murray Rivers, Jr. Intermodal Transit Center in downtown Savannah, 7 days a week. From the Intermodal Transit Center, the hotel is a 1.3 mile walk or you can take a CAT bus to shorten the walk to about 0.5 mile. You may find it helpful to plan your trip ahead of time using Google Maps. You can also visit CAT’s web site at www.catchacat.org/ or call CAT at (912)-233-5767 for details and schedules.

Conference Special Events

Thursday Night Haunted Pub Crawl $22 (Not included in registration fee)
Starts 9 pm Thursday night at Tondee's Tavern (6 East Bay Street, Savannah Georgia).
This is an exciting and enjoyable journey into some of Savannah’s oldest historic pubs and bars. During this 2-hour haunted pub crawl, we will visit 4 of the most historic pubs and bars that Savannah has to offer. The haunted pub crawl leaves Tondee’s Tavern on Bay Street on Thursday night at 9 pm. After grabbing a drink in this very haunted bar the tour will work our way through the Historic District of Savannah, stopping at the most haunted pubs and bars along the way. You’ll be entertained by your professional guide as they recall the stories of ghosts and hauntings which still torment the living. This is an adult’s only tour, only for those age 21 and older. Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE. The tour goes rain or shine. Limited to 40 participants.
