Job Description / Duties
The Kinesiology Department at SUNY Cortland is accepting applications for a visiting lecturer or visiting assistant professor to teach four courses or 12 credit hours per semester and hold appropriate office hours. A visiting lecturer or visiting assistant professor works under the direct supervision of the department chairperson and collaborates closely with faculty and staff within the department. Additional working relationships with faculty and staff in other college departments are possible.
Qualifications / Required Skills
Visiting Lecturer
Master’s degree in Kinesiology or closely related field
Visiting Assistant Professor
Earned doctorate in Kinesiology or closely related field
Additional Information
Preferred Qualifications:
ABD or PhD in Kinesiology with a pedagogical emphasis in sport sociology
Salary: $48,396
