Job Description / Duties

The School of Education at North Dakota State University (NDSU) invites inquiries, nominations, and
applications for a 1-year non-tenure-track, nine (9) month Lecturer position with a primary focus on Physical
Education and/or Health Education (PE/HE) to begin August 16, 2026. This position will consist of 80% teacher

NDSU’s PE/HE programs include a stand-alone undergraduate physical education program (with both a K-12

(5th-12th licensing), undergraduate Sport Coaching Certificate, as well as an online master’s program
(Leadership in Physical Education and Sport Coaching [LPESC]). Both teacher preparation programs are

undergraduate programs emphasize experiential learning and best practices, incorporate a variety of technology
tools and applications, and provide diverse and unique field experiences. The LPESC master’s program
