Job Description / Duties

Position: Faculty position in the Department of Kinesiology and Sports Management (beginning Fall semester, 2022)

The Department of Kinesiology and Sports Management of Emmanuel College invites applications for a full-time faculty member to teach a variety of courses in the Kinesiology and Sports
Management program. However, preference will be given for those with a generalist preparation qualified to teach a variety of courses which may include based on candidate's interest and
background: Nutrition, Tests and Measurements, Motor Learning, Foundations, and a variety of Sports Management courses. The applicant should clearly desire to integrate the Christian faith with
student learning. Other duties would include student advising, supervising internships, sponsoring the student majors club, and serving on faculty committees. This is a nine-month position with
possible summer teaching. Faculty rank and salary will be determined by the applicant’s qualifications.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Master’s degree required, Doctorate preferred in Health & Physical Education, Exercise Science, Sports Management, or a related area from an accredited institution. The candidate will be required to demonstrate an ability to teach effectively and be a committed Christian who identifies and adheres to the mission of Emmanuel College.
