Job Description / Duties

The Lebanon Valley College Department of Exercise Science seeks an assistant professor of exercise science with an anatomy and physiology focus, for the growing exercise science department. The Department is dedicated to building a diverse faculty committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service to support the development and sensitivity of a community of faculty, staff, and students that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The position is a full-time, nine-month, 3-year renewable position. Primary responsibilities include teaching in the undergraduate exercise science program supporting anatomy and physiology content for the exercise science and nursing curriculum, maintaining an active research agenda in or related to exercise science and or the health professions, and service engagement to the College and community. Qualifications include a doctoral degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or closely related field, teaching experience in anatomy and physiology for exercise science or allied health professions programs, and supporting the exercise science curriculum.

This position is for Fall 2022 with phone interviews completed by March 19th and on-campus interviews for finalist candidates immediately thereafter. The position will remain open until filled.
