Job Description / Duties

The Kinesiology Department at SUNY Cortland invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position with a specialization in Exercise Science. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate instruction, maintain an active research agenda, and provide service to the department, university, and professional organizations.

Qualifications / Required Skills

Required Qualifications: Earned doctorate in the Kinesiology field. Candidates who are ABD may be considered with expected completion of the doctorate within one year from appointment date.

Preferred Qualifications: Specialization in exercise science, credentialed by relevant professional organizations (e.g., NSCA, ACSM, ISSN), demonstrated experience and evidence of university-level teaching, experience delivering undergraduate and/or graduate coursework in exercise science.
