Summary and Application Deadline:
- Two federally funded projects:
- 1) National Institutes of Health (NIH) funded intervention study that focuses on motor skill competence, physical activity, and self-perceptions in preschool populations (1 PhD Student and 1 Post-Doctoral Fellow).
- 2) US Office of Special Education Programs within the US Department of Education (DOE) with an interest in motor development/behavior and adapted physical activity in at-risk pediatric populations (1 PhD Student or 1 Post-Doctoral Fellow).Twelve month position reports to the Dean of the College of Health and Human Services. The Chair responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing departmental activities and programs; providing effective academic leadership and developmental mentoring faculty; supervising fiscal and physical operations; serving as an effective advocate for the department and its programs; fostering cooperative efforts with other departments and programs in the college and university.
