Leader Development Workshop, July 6-7, 2017
Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA

The NAKHE Leader Development Workshop (LDW) aims to develop young leaders by bringing together emerging and experienced leaders every year to participate in varied learning experiences and engage in insightful discussions on contemporary leadership issues in the field.

This year, the workshop theme will be “Conflict Resolution in Kinesiology Higher Education”. The sessions will feature scenarios focusing on student-faculty, faculty-faculty and faculty-administrator conflict as springboards for discussions. The Ombuds approach and other strategies will be presented to equip leaders with tools and skills for conflict resolution.

NAKHE invites faculty, administrators, and doctoral students who are interested in moving into leadership roles to participate in the workshop.
